Les Règles Pour La Speedrun de Javelot

1. Hacking
    a. Use of a browser's JavaScript console to alter or run code is prohibited in all speedruns.
    b. Any other use of code to alter the game in any way is prohibited across all speedruns.
2. Tool-Assisted Speedruns (TAS)
    a. TAS may be used to practice a speedrun to view how the player and the enemies move.
    b. TAS may not be used in a speedrun submission in any case.
    c. Many enemies in Javelin have random movement patterns which will make it hard for a TAS to beat the game unless it has AI.
3. Glitches
    a. There are glitches and other tricks which can be found in the Javelin game.
    b. You will need to search through the source code to find some of these tricks.
    c. Glitches may be used in official speedrun submissions.
4. Speedrun Verification
    a. There are two options for a speedrun submission, which are shown below.
    b. A video can be submitted for a speedrun and must include the following:
        i. The whole speedrun, from start to finish.
        ii. A reload of the page at the start of the video to prevent JavaScript console use.
    c. An image can also be submitted with the verification of another speedrunner. This must include:
        i. A screenshot of the winning screen with all 15 level split times and the whole screen shown.
        ii. Verification of the speedrun from another speedrunner, by email or other means of communication.
5. Speedrun Submissions
    a. As shown on the Javelin webpage, you can submit speedruns to public@nablasoft.tech.
    b. You can use other communication methods as well if you are sure that your speedrun will reach Nablasoft.
    c. Speedrun submissions will be ignored if they do not fit the required verification requirements.
6. Leaderboard Updates
    a. Updates of the leaderboard will be put in as soon as we can verify your speedrun.
    b. The name displayed will be the name attached to your email when you submit a speedrun.
    c. All dates are in United States format (mm/dd/yyyy).
7. Ratification of These Rules
    a. These rules are the official rules of the Javelin game.
    b. Modifications will be made as necessary.
    c. This version is ratified on 23 January 2022.
